With its funk-influenced basslines and Romy’s vocals, this tune is a perfect reminder to let loose and enjoy every moment to the fullest. Furthermore, the fantastic music video is directed by her wife, Vic Lentaigne, who transports you to the vibrant nightclubbing scene.
Romy describes the visuals as “very personal,” and she hopes to reflect some of the euphoria that she hopes to convey with the song. Likewise, I love the way the lyrics are concise yet profound.
Actually, “Enjoy Your Life” features a sample of “La Vita” by Beverly Glenn-Copeland, an American Folk and New Age musician.
