Chances are you’ve heard a lot about DVBBS recently. The brothers have been on fire as of late, releasing a standout EP in the form of their latest “Beautiful Disaster,” followed by a candid interview on AOL to discuss the makings of the EP-including producing in a studio in the jungle in Thailand. This time they’re coming to us with an incredible remix of Steve Aoki & Louis Tomlinson‘s “Just Hold On,” out on Ultra Music. The original track reached #1 in 43 countries on its release day, and Steve Aoki & Louis Tomlinsonhave performed the track live on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Today Show and The Late Late Show with James Corden. While it is challenging to remix such a high-profile song, DVBBS managed to create a rendition that keeps the integrity of the original while giving it an exciting, party-friendly vibe. DVBBS are absolute maestros when it comes to creating dynamic tracks, never failing to surprise and impress fans and industry tastemakers alike. They are wasting no time creating new music-their upcoming collaborations include 2 Chainz, Cody Simpson, and NERVO. Talk about musical diversity! Fans can catch DVBBS live on their last few tour dates this winter in Colorado, Georgia and California.

Few producers have risen to the top in the electronic music scene as quickly as DVBBS, who captured the industry’s attention with their first hit “Gold Skies” and never let it go. The Canadian brothers Alex and Christopher have been continuously cultivating their sound since their debut in 2012; their latest EP, “Beautiful Disaster,” is the most dynamic display of their musical prowess yet. For the EP the duo recruited various guest collaborators, including hip hop superstar Juicy J as well as Stella Rio, Gia Koka and Ramriddlz. DVBBS effectively breaks the mold on “Beautiful Disaster” with sounds that range from the gorgeous, melodic vocals of “Wicked Ways” to the rap-laced party starter “Moonrock,” to the wistful, groovy “Doja (No Lie).” DVBBS continues to diversify and evolve their sound with unique collaborations, once again showing us that you never know what they have up their sleeve.

Nicky Romero’s Tune “Stay” Will Take You Back To Your First Love
Nicky Romero showcases his softer side with “Stay”. Drawing upon the style of his 2019 releases like “Love You Forever” ft. Sam Martin, “Sometimes” with DallasK, and “Distance” with Olivia Holt, Romero trades in driving basslines and big-room synths for gently undulating instrumentals and a gently progressive drop in the new track. The Protocol label head pairs the dreamy melodies with emotive vocals, producing lines like “why don’t we stay, and not get older like we’re supposed to” that evoke the nostalgia of youthful romance. “Stay” follows Nicky’s club-ready “I See” released in January as Romero’s first single of the year.
After taking the world by storm with early hits such as “Legacy” (with Krewella) and #1 single “I Could Be The One” (with Avicii), Nicky Romero quickly proved that his talent is ever-evolving and here to stay. After launching his Protocol Recordings imprint in 2012, the renowned performer, producer, and label head continued his personal successes with a string of high-profile releases, ranging from collabs with Mike Williams & Amba Shepherd, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, W&W, DallasK & XYLØ and Steve Aoki & Kiiara to remixes for the likes of Kygo, Rita Ora, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Jess Glynne and more. All the while showcasing his label’s roster via his weekly Protocol Radio show, Nicky Romero continues to touch down across the globe for his incredible live performances, including residencies at Las Vegas’ Hakkasan and Omnia and forthcoming shows at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, ageHa in Tokio, Echostage in Washington DC, Du Arena in Abu Dhabi, Ultra Music Festival in Miami and more. Stay tuned to see what he has up his sleeve next.
Nicky Romero’s schedule:

DNF Returns To CYB3RPVNK With Big-Room-Influenced Solo Debut
Polish up-and-comer DNF returns to R3HAB‘s CYB3RPVNK with his massive new release “I’m Back” to cure your winter blues. Delivering a big-room influenced sound filled with bouncy basslines and driving percussion, “I’m Back” is a guaranteed party-starter and meshes perfectly with the CYB3RPVNK imprint’s sound. The new release is DNF’s third on the label, and first solo release, following his 2019’s “Open Your Mind” and “Touching Me” with the label’s veteran Skytech. DNF is evolving and perfecting his sound with each new track, so stay tuned to see what he has up his sleeve for the rest of 2020.
In 2018 DJ and producer R3HAB founded his label CYB3RPVNK, a place that embraces the alternative, pushes artistic boundaries and serves as a platform to build up new artists. The imprint is currently home to R3HAB himself and a strong roster of artists, including Skytech, Tommy Jayden, Dropgun, Cityzen, and more. Among them is DNF, who found a home on the label in 2019 and has been making waves ever since. The Polish artist previously released on Ultra Records, Armada, and Sony Music before joining the CYB3RPVNK crew. Other high energy releases from the label early this year are Steve Aoki’s notable remix of R3HAB, ZAYN and Jungleboi’s “Flames” as well as Skytech & Robbie Mendez’s “Overload.”

Jack Trades Has The Soundtrack To Your Heart This Season, “Body Language”
Just in time for the most romantic season of the year, Jack Trades delivers “Body Language”, a sensual and yet energetic track featuring vocals by singer/songwriter Madison Olds. Featuring a future-house inspired groovy bassline and dreamy topline melodies, the sultry and smooth voice acts as the addicting icing on the cake for “Body Language.” Madison Olds joins forces with Jack Trades after charting on Canadian Hot AC radio and opening for the likes of Willie Nelson, Kacey Musgraves, Neon Dreams, and more. “Body Language” follows Jack Trades’ “Sideways” in November and is his first release of 2020. Keep your eyes trained on Jack Trades because if this is any indication, it’s about to be his biggest year yet.
Jack Trades made his debut on the scene in 2017 and has since made a name for himself with his brand of easy-listening, melodic dance-pop crossovers. With singles on Thrive, Armada, and official remixes for Adam K & Soha, Dropgun, and Late Night Alumni, Jack has a strong start to what promises to be a very long career. In her own right, Madison Olds’ signature vibrant vocals and emotive delivery have drawn comparisons to crooning star Ellie Goulding. Drawing inspiration from legends like the Beatles, Queen, Amy Winehouse, and more, Olds is reviving a vintage sound for the modern era. With her song “Thank You” winning prestigious worldwide songwriting competitions and landing on the Hot AC charts and her song “Moments in the Mountains” chosen as the soundtrack to the Pacific Rim Life, and we can’t wait to see her spread her wings through the rest of the world.

Forget The Original, Try This EDM Remix Of Elton John’s “Rocket Man”
Lotus Prime delivers an infectious EDM remix. On this occasion, Elton John‘s popular hit “Rocket Man” got tweaked to fit at clubs and festivals. The LA-based producer creates a fresh tribute to a legend we all admire. With a modern touch, the driving and bouncy bassline give a new life to the original version. Moreover, while keeping the integrity of the vocals, electro-driven melodies will make you dance your skeleton out of your body. This is surely not for the faint-hearted. In short, I have no complaints about it. Hopefully, his next remix will be just as good. Stay tuned on Lotus Prime socials for more exciting news.
