Now You Can See A Parallel Dimension! Enjoy This Audiovisual Experience From APKLYPZ

“Golden Spiralverse”
isn’t only APKLYPZ‘s debut single, indeed, it’s an amazing audiovisual experience that may seem bizarre but it works. Despite the busy schedule with his Silicon Valley projects, The American Video Producer went into the studio in order to bring back all his creativity. What’s more, he promises you can see some sort of parallel dimension through his latest clip, and he’s probably right! From my view, the sequence of vivid/trippy imagery is strategically designed to get you hooked from the start. Surely, no one can deny he offers a form of escapism that is rooted in the art of spiral motion. The visuals for “Golden Spiralverse” is at all different than we are accustomed. Anyhow, that’s the strange reason why I like it. Watch it here. 🌀

BOMBEI.exe

The idea that digital avatars are the musicians of the future isn’t so far away from reality. A clear example of this is BOMBEI.exe whose mind-blowing video for “Call Me Crazy” is gaining a lot of traction among Hyperpop fans.

So, if you’ve ever been curious about how digital avatars will revolutionize music and entertainment, BOMBEI.exe is a good character to start with. The mastermind behind BOMBEI.exe is a Vancouver-based sound designer who prefers to remain anonymous.

On the other hand, Matt (his real name) is pursuing a solo career after leaving a Post-Rock band.

Actually, “Call Me Crazy” is the debut single that allows him to explore experimental sounds for the first time. Not to mention, he’s already eager to drop three unreleased albums anytime soon.

“I love experimental music ranging from No Wave and Harsh Noise to Avant-Prog, Krautrock, and Drone Metal. This project is a different side of me, it’s influenced by the happiest parts of my life and the happiest poppiest music I consume. I love it.” — Matt

BOMBEI.exe
Inspired by the Japanese anime world, stunning 3D animations give life to this adorable and catchy tune. Here the artist pushes his unique vision further, adding intricate glitchy effects to the visuals and merging different electronic music genres.

Certainly, you’re guaranteed to have your ears ringing for a while after watching the two-minute clip above. Beyond the flashing lights and images, “Call Me Crazy” is a song that features an upbeat rhythm capable of recharging your own batteries.

Without conventional norms or parameters when it comes to creating tracks, this piece of art is the result of how limitless the imagination of man can be. Enjoy it!

A Whole New Level Of Sound And Meaning: ‘thefool’ By setstill

‘s new album ‘thefool’ has something for everyone and no matter what kind of listener you are, you will find something to love. Interestingly enough, these songs carry a reflective essence, similar to the archetypes in the Tarot.

With this authentic material made up of 10 tracks, you can explore thought-provoking lyrics that tell simple yet deep stories. At the same time, the American producer goes in a versatile direction creating a new level of sound and meaning.

One way or another, he’s shedding light on a facet of his career as a groundbreaking multi-genre artist. Indeed, these heterogeneous pieces of eclectic music showcase his ability in designing melodies literally coming out of the box.

The collaborative tunes with Garland and WOOTZAbility are definitely the most intriguing, both in electronic sounds and organic textures.

Turn the volume up and stream such a cool album below.

On the other hand, tarot cards represent significant life events. And there’s a good reason to believe ‘thefool’ was titled that way to reflect setstill’s journey as a creator and as a person throughout this project.

‘thefool’ is a special one, not only for being the first card of the Major Arcana but also because it’s a sign of a fresh start as well as an exciting adventure that was written in the studio for almost three weeks… Beyond metaphors, everything makes sense conceptually.

If you’re eager to see a brilliant performance from setstill, mark your calendars for September 17th as he will perform at Powderhorn Porchfest in South Minneapolis alongside Original Beginnings.

Happrixx’s Single Takes Him From Beatmaker To Full-Fledged Electronic Producer

Published

Happrixx
Happrixx
, currently better-known as Baddy Beats, has begun his new project with the single “Arpeggiator. The track retains some of his original style from the highly successful project but repositions him as a festival mainstay of the near future. Happrixx, aka Berlin-based Sven Wenke, makes progressive, trance-reminiscent electronic that could fall into several classic electronic genres. Either way, it’s got the “mainstage” sound down while also sparking the appeal of an opening act on a side stage that the people there would never forget.

Happrixx’s story goes back to his youth, but things really changed for him with a 2009 cancer diagnosis. Happrixx admits the illness, “pretty much took my life away. Luckily I got through everything well, it just took a while before [I was] physically resilient again and could concentrate on complex things.” And dominoes began to fall: “Unfortunately, after the illness, my girlfriend also gave up. That really got me down again.” But Happrixx kept as positive as possible through that time and found his post-happily-ever-after hope in his current girlfriend. As for how he recovered so well, Happrixx credits holding on, staying strong, and tapping into his patience.

Before Happrix, Baddy Beats had accumulated nearly 200,000 streams on Spotify alone, and within just about a year. Happrixx reminisces on his humble beginnings, “My older brother bought a turntable, a mixer, and a couple of records. Electronic music has fascinated me ever since. Later I bought my own two turntables, mixer and records and DJed at home.” That’s when cancer came into the picture, and his journey of building up his talent came to a halt, and it felt like things would stall forever. He notes that after he was mostly recovered, Happrixx took years to perfect his sound before showing up in the scene in Berlin.

Happrixx is a jack-of-all-trades. While some (most) people find it incredibly difficult to manage every aspect of their music and promotion, Happrixx shares that he, “[takes] care of everything myself – the song, the cover, canvas, etc.” Happrixx is a consummate musician who loves theory, practice, and all creative aspects of production. He muses, “My songs always come from a passion for music and jamming, plus a little spark, a beat, a bassline, or any other impulse that I use to make a song out of it. I’m currently producing a song as Happrixx, for which I’ve had a lead sound for a long time that I want to pack into a song.”
