FORTRESSES is an American community band founded in 2013 and made up of highly qualified musicians. With all the necessary instruments you will notice almost a perfect execution of percussion and rhythm. Not for nothing, every time they perform in the Coastal Virginia region they put a smile on people’s faces and hearts. If you’re into the open mic scene, then you can watch them thanks to “CIPHER Tuesdays” – located at the historic Train Station Restaurant in Newport News.
On the other hand, FORTRESSES steps onto 2019’s world stage with an exciting debut. Just listen to their vintage-esque single “The Introduction” and get ready to melt into eargasmic bliss. Little by little the orchestration intensifies the powerful vocals of bandleader/composer Zachary Hines, II. Moreover, inspiring lyrics create a seductive atmosphere infused with romance. So, what more could we ask for?… I swear this is truly fantastic and reminds me of James Bond’s classic theme songs a bit.
