In my continuous search for rising talents, I just discovered Gus Pessoa, a Brazilian guy whose style feels contemporary to my ears. Not so long ago, he uploaded via SoundCloud a teaser for his upcoming debut single, “Burned Out”. At times, Cammie Robinson‘s soulful vocals are chopped up, which is a widely used technique today among Deep House Producers. The vocalist in question is no stranger in the music industry as her collaborations include MK & Flux Pavilion. Beyond that, “Burned Out” isn’t only a pleasant song to play at home, but its quality is also bound to make an impact at clubs. Hopefully, we can see it climbing the charts after its release date (January 11th, 2019). Without further ado, make sure that you don’t miss it!
