Just in case you haven’t heard, there’s a brilliant cover of Kylie Minogue‘s hit “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” by Guy Gerber and DESIRE. Certainly, fellow Electro-Pop fans will be excited about its dreamy and dark direction.
First of all, the music video sees these cool artists sharing the daily happenings of Hollywood. The shiny, bright, and unreal nature of this famous neighborhood in LA makes you want to live over there…
However, the final destination portrayed in the visuals is a huge party in a nightclub, where party animals unleash all their energy.
Guy Gerber makes sure this addictive version preserves the iconic ‘la la la’ hook and replaces the original rhythm with some spectacular synthesizers.
By the way, I believe it’s a bit slower than the official cut released in 2001.
In any case, DESIRE gives this cover of Kylie Minogue a 180-degree spin. Once you pay attention to her sexy singing voice she seduces your ears and soul.
To sum up, such a fresh rendition of “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” is undeniably the religious experience both geniuses want it to be. Works for me from start to end.
