Joeyglo’s Catchy Pop Single “Lovely Lady” Out Now!
Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer, and audio engineer Joeyglo has released his new single “Lovely Lady.” The highly anticipated track references the importance of making women feel validated, worthy, and enough — just the way they are. A reflection inspired by romance evokes nothing but love in the listener’s heart and empathetically pays credit to all women.
Making waves through the Pop scene, the anthem hits spot-on lyrics that give listeners a reason to jam too. “We could go to the moon, in outer space, we could take a rocket ship, we could swim through the Milky-way.” The electronic-pop musician represents the silver lining and glows within each and every color of the complex human experience. “If I knew you a million light years, I would hold you tight. Will that be alright?”
Although women are breaking boundaries all the time, Joeyglo says, “This world would be nothing without a woman or a girl.” “Lovely Lady” represents the prominence of well-deserved women. “The song is about the first moment the protagonist meets a woman and just has to know every little detail about who she is and wants to spend every waking moment with this special human,” says Joeyglo.
While blending genres and giving a fresh sound to the Electro-Pop and Hip-Hop scenes, the track drew inspiration from “the givers of life,” says Joeyglo. “I wrote this song to be fun and flirtatious while not making women feel sexualized or unappreciated for who they really are as people,” adds Joeyglo.
In Joeyglo’s career, his influences have had a powerful impact on his creativity and have even drawn comparisons to Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, and Jeff Buckley. The style and sound of his storytelling translated into lyrics are on the rise as he furthers himself in the limelight as an artist.
Joeyglo’s musical journey began in Northern California and later relocated to Nashville. He writes, records, and produces all of his own music from his at-home studio. As a professional drummer for 21 years, playing festival circuits internationally, and most notably as the drummer for the band NAWAS, Joeyglo constantly evolves to be the best musical version of himself. Having worked on several projects with various musicians, Joeyglo is now releasing his own music.

MAK’s Song “You’re The Reason” Honors His Mom’s Cancer Battle

Brooklyn’s futuristic Pop artist, MAK, has released his new single “You’re The Reason,” with powerful lyrics, infectious melodies, and an anthemic Synth-Rock beat, this song tells the vibrant love story of a son and his mom. “You’re The Reason” is now available on streaming platforms worldwide and the full-length music video is live on YouTube.
“I had never written a song dedicated to one person and that challenge was quite daunting, but I didn’t go looking for this project, it became apparent that the most powerful love language I had to translate my feelings and emotions to my mom was through this song,” MAK said. The lyrics are deeply personal while telling a universal story that anyone can relate to. “I wrote this song for my mom, but I realized along the way that it was not only for her and I – it could be your mom or anyone in your life that is the reason you are who you are.”
MAK teamed up once again with his friend and Grammy-nominated producer Yonatan Watts who said, “something just feels right about this track. There are these nostalgic piano chords over an upbeat rock synth and drums that feels sentimental while getting your energy up at the same time. It was the perfect vibe for MAK to celebrate his mom to,” Watts said. He added “as a Pop record, the sound is very much for right now yet the message is timeless. MAK is particularly known for crossing influences of pop, R&B, Reggaeton and electro to make up his unique sound as an artist.”
“You’re The Reason” is also out now as a first-of-its-kind, AI-enhanced music video that takes a storybook tail of MAK and his mom and fuses oil-painted impressionist art, Synthwave aesthetics and artificially enhanced scenes that make this already vibrant track jump off the screen.
MAK credits his mom as the reason he’s developed into the evolving person and artist he is today. Her example and guidance, from an early age, led MAK to pursue diverse interests and develop those talents. Starting the piano at age three and picking up the drums, violin, and choir, MAK went on to play Division 1 football and study at two Ivy League schools.
MAK’s mom, born in Queens, New York, who put herself through Harvard, not only made a career as an elite teacher in the classroom but has also been an elite and compassionate teacher for MAK in the game of life.
As MAK went on to build a career in London and New York City working for the National Football League and launching his own marketing and innovation agency, MAK, who hadn’t picked up an instrument since high school, fell back into music serendipitously. He was invited into a close friend’s studio session as a guest and when convinced to hop in the booth, he was hooked from the moment he heard himself through a recording microphone.
MAK went on to tirelessly work on his voice and his craft and three albums and four years later, MAK is making music for his mom and the world. “I feel so fortunate to have been exposed to so much at a young age and to have found music again and my passion in life. It was my parents, my mom, that nurtured these interests in me and supported me in continuously pursuing my dreams. To get the opportunity to pay my love back to my mom through my music is a treasured gift for me coming full circle.”
