Kabutey shares a personal EP that takes into account his own family background. Indeed, concepts for music are infinite, and artists can feel inspired by any subject. In this case, Kabutey feels proud of his ‘Euro African American’ origins and creatively, he releases 4 instrumental tunes based on EDM to vivify memories of the past. In short, his great-grandfather was French, his parents are from Ghana and he is American because he was born in Brooklyn. Just as the interesting mix that pulses through his veins, this EP also has a lot of versatility in terms of sound.
After listening to the whole EP, a true “hands in the air” cut I would recommend is definitely “Yacht Party”. Likewise, he keeps the trancey atmosphere with the opening track “Gold”, which draws us into the hardstyle realms. While “Superrich” features a very different nature as it is filled with dirty beats and Electro House. On the other hand, “Billionaire” adds a unique Tribal twist, that creates a magical experience.
