Kanye West is again embroiled in controversy. The Hip-Hop star recently dropped “I Love It”, a new single in collaboration with Lil Pump. The bad news for him is that House legend David Morales, soon realized that the bassline was familiar. Without thinking twice, the Producer from NYC shared a video on his social media claiming that West took a sample without permission. In fact, the track in dispute is actually a remix from 1991. I’m talking about “What Is This Thing Called Love?” by Alexander O’Neal. Listen and compare both tracks below, these claims are not fake and Morales will take legal actions based on the concept of plagiarism.
