Los Angeles-based Lauren Waller dives into a mix of genres and creates a blend with hints of 1980s sounds mixed with modern electro-textured Indie Pop.
Her newest single, “Soulmates,” is a great leap (in the right direction) from her past releases. Sweetly sinister, “Soulmates,” is a blend of dark images and quirky dance beats. Lauren utilizes the nuances and character in her voice to toy with the object of her affections in a way that puts the listener on edge. The track exemplifies Waller’s growth as an artist.
She recently graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Theater Arts Production and Design, but finds passion within music and singing due to the storytelling outlet they possess.
She plays around LA often; catch her if you can live. Well worth it.
