Marcus Santoro refreshes the melodic trance sound for Protocol Recordings with his new single “Blackout” ft. Lauren L’aimant. Santoro artistically leverages influences from progressive house, big room, and trance genres, which delivers gracefully undulating melodies, an uptempo BPM, and ethereal vocals. “Blackout” evokes the feeling of flying or floating, much like the trance tracks we grew to know and love in the early 2000s. This is Santoro’s second release on Nicky Romero’s imprint, following his debut “Shine” last year in collaboration with Sentinel. He’s already proven to be a talented and dynamic artist in the progressive sphere and beyond, so we can’t wait to see what Marcus Santoro has up his sleeve in 2020.

Why Is Vocal Trance So Good? Watch Tolvai Reni’s “Love Got You” Visuals
For those wondering why Vocal Trance is so good, here you have the best exemplification of the genre in music video form. Tolvai Reni offers ample evidence of how emerging artists keep evolving the scene with the highest standards.
Embracing futuristic aesthetics that resemble the Matrix movie, the visuals for “Love Got You” seem captivating from start to end. The Romanian singer plays the role of a Sci-Fi character while igniting your imagination with a pinch of fantasy.
In Vocal Trance music, there’s a fine balance between emotions and euphoric melodies. Additionally, every buildup, drop, and the transition feels almost like a magical experience that rumbles in your chest.
Szabolcs Keményfi aka ALPRITE is the up-and-coming genius behind those driving basslines that invite you to get lost in time and space.
Certainly, no Vocal Trance gem is complete without feelings and a story of love. With this in mind, Tolvani Reni incorporates sensuality, romanticism, and other compelling elements through her lyrics.
At the end of the day, what makes this release so epic isn’t necessarily a Ferrari or the green laser lights, but turning your passion into art.

Trance Lovers Surprised With New Music Video From JES & Will Atkinson
It’s a big surprise to see them back on a collaborative project! JES and Will Atkinson‘s club version of “Long Way Home” is as good as their classic “Imagination” remix. Trance lovers understand perfectly what I’m talking about.
Four years ago, Atkinson’s remix for “Imagination” became the Single of the Month via DJ Mag. Furthermore, it’s still one of the longest unbroken #1 runs in the history of Beatport’s Trance chart.
Well, the refreshed version of “Long Way Home” came at a time when you want to take all the stress away in the middle of a slow-motion third world war.
Fortunately, JES’ gorgeous vocals uplift and bring balm to your soul.
Actually, lyrics refer to those nights that give you never-ending joys anyone would like them to be eternal.
Sonically speaking, you can expect pulse-racing tempo & bass. A powerful and dynamic rhythm you can feel in your heart.
This is the booming sound that gives you goosebumps as you vibe along with it. This is what Trance lovers call an authentic masterpiece. Enjoy!
