Mason Flint & High Stakes Team Up For Dancefloor Smash, “Wind It Up”
House Music is a universal language that is enjoyed by millions around the world. From the bright city lights of international capitals like New York, Melbourne, London, and Tokyo to the regional towns of Australia, DJs and Producers have been making music that has been the constant companion to our weekends. This is the world that Bendigo-based DJ Producer Mason Flint lives in.
With over 1 million plays on Spotify, he tore up the charts in 2020 with his remix of Nightcrawlers’ “Push The Feeling On” and has continued to release music at a relentless pace ever since. His most recent track “Disko” has been on high rotation on Triple J and that is about to be superseded by his collaboration with High Stakes on the dancefloor smash “Wind It Up” issued by Teamwrk Records. Topped with a vocal hook that will get audiences moving, the driving basslines and lethal leads are destined to be on every DJs playlist.
From Funk House to Tech, Mason continues to show a unique ability to produce music that gets to the groove in every way possible. That desire to explore a complete musical narrative is evident in every sophisticated rhythm and melody that he touches. He has everything in his crate to build a career beyond the Australian dancefloor and mix it up with his peers.
Far from the madding crowd of the capital city Melbourne where he frequently plays, Mason has been making music that is an instant hit wherever he performs. Supporting acts such as John Course, Will Sparks, Press Play, Client Liaison, Torren Foot, and Havana Brown, you get a true sense of his talents in the booth. Authentic and laying downmixes that stretch themselves across the broad horizons of the dancefloor, he has been in hot demand as a wizard behind the decks at events like Creamfields and Bounce.
Touring with local promoters Heavenly Minded and set to become a major feature as part of the Bendigo Summer Series, Mason is getting a chance to showcase his formidable talents behind the decks in a regional setting too. Determined to bring that love of House to his local community, ‘Wind It Up’ will provide the soundtrack to the summer and be the anthem you can live by.
Check out Mason Flint as he becomes a tour de force in the Australian scene and part of his ever-growing journey.

Bhaskar & JADED Join Forces For Dark Tech-House Single “When I See It”

Brazilian producer Bhaskar teams up with West London-based duo JADED for their new release “When I See It,” featuring The Vic. This dark and dynamic tune brings to mind epic tracks from the early 2000s House legends with its fusion of spoken word vocals and seamless sonic production.
Opening with rich instrumental melodies, Bhaskar and JADED weave in deep and driving basslines with sparkling synths to make for a track that’s complex yet utterly danceable. Summer may be winding to a close in many parts of the world, but “When I See It” is guaranteed to keep things hot, hot, hot for clubbing and winter festival season in the tropics.
It follows Bhaskar’s recent curation of CONTROVERSIA’s Vol. 010 compilation, a remix for Yves V and Sem Thomasson’s “Sound Of A Beating Heart” and his collaboration with Mojjo and Bright Sparks on “Zombie” on Repopulate Mars. On the other hand, JADED had a stream of successful releases on Diplo’s Higher Ground label with singles such as “Mirror” and “Show My Love,” as well as more original works and remixes on Another Rhythm, Sweat It Out, and more.
“‘When I See It’ emerged some time ago through conversations between JADED and myself on the internet. I had a tour scheduled for Europe and would be in London, so I reached out to them. We decided to meet and create a song together. When discussing what we were going to produce, I recall that ‘Tina’ was the song of mine that had most caught their attention, while ‘Welcome To The People’ was the song of theirs that had grabbed mine. We then talked to find a middle ground between the two, and I think ‘When I See It’ is precisely that. It has various elements reminiscent of ‘Tina,’ but also many sounds that they used in ‘Welcome To The People.’ As for its genre, I see it as a tech house track but with a more progressive twist. It builds throughout the song, introducing a new element with every break, every drop, showcasing this progressive nature. Regarding its similarity to ‘Tina.’ I undoubtedly wanted to create a follow-up to ‘Tina,’ but I aimed to deviate slightly from its original vibe to reinvent the sound rather than just continue it. I believe ‘When I See It’ does echo ‘Tina’ but in a lighter way, more accessible, for instance, in its lyrics, which aren’t as heavy as ‘Tina,’ neither is instrumental. So I see it as a ‘Tina 2.0’, but lighter and more digestible.” — Bhaskar
“This song is all about that undeniable feeling you experience with other people that doesn’t require a description, it’s an understanding that whatever this sound is we are experiencing together is hitting all the right emotions and feelings and is just right! We all felt this very quickly when things started cooking up with Bhaskar in our West London studio! The Vic’s undeniable vocal really delivers this one straight into the cosmos.” — JADED
