Moby Drops Post-Apocalyptic Music Video "Mere Anarchy"
The second single from Moby‘s new album ‘Everything Was Beautiful And Nothing Hurt’ is titled “Mere Anarchy”. Once again, the electronic musician prefers black and white videos. As a form of science fiction, the visuals portray a short post-apocalyptic story that involves some time traveling. However, this clip can also be interpreted as a protest against nuclear weapons. Sure enough, Moby is not only a great artist, he’s also a great humanist. In the same way, you can get your own conclusions and leave your comments below. Perhaps most importantly, you need to watch it in order to understand my point of view!

“Chill Mood” By Donna O. Raphael Is Relaxing Music To Listen To

Published

relaxing music to listen to
Florida-based composer Donna O. Raphael releases “Chill Mood”. In brief, this is relaxing music to listen to. What’s more, her creative process revolves around musical improvisation. She started playing around with drum patterns, and a mix of Hip-Hop/Electronica elements. Subsequently, she obtained something more chilled out than usual.

Of course, this piece is still recognizable by her signature instrumental style. The interesting thing is that the laidback feel to it and the spacey atmospherics complement each other perfectly. According to the artist herself, these soothing sounds came out spontaneously. Plus, the whole tune will literally lift your spirit, as she uses her keyboard really nicely too. Trust me, this is the kind of music that makes you feel better straight away. I wish it was a bit longer though. Anyway, close your eyes as you listen to this and picture a peaceful place you want to be in.

If you think it’s time to relax your mind from stress and everyday problems, stream in full “Chill Mood” on SoundCloud above.

Jolynn J Chin Reveals Piano Cover Of Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" — LISTEN
Jolynn J Chin
never fails to impress every time she plays the keys. Listen to her latest single “7 Rings Sonata” which is a piano cover of Ariana Grande’s recent Pop hit. It consists of a crossover paired with Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”, featuring the famous broken chords theme in the third movement and the main theme from the first movement. As a matter of fact, this contemporary cut is also a reinterpretation of “My Favorite Things” by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The classic track was part of a Broadway production from 1959.

On this occasion, Jolynn will dazzle you with this beautiful piece of Sonata art. Sincerely, I can’t figure out how fast she moves her fingers in order to obtain such stunning quality. Add to this, mellow electronic beats, which evoke an air of modernity to the whole composition. Definitely, her music transcends genres, while anchoring to creativeness.

On a side note, the award-winning pianist has announced the release of a debut full-length album for 2021. With regard to details, her forthcoming project has an experimental and personal approach. In short, this means fewer covers and more original arrangements. As it was expected, her recent work has been written during lockdown and will feature exclusive collaborations as well. Stay tuned for more info.

Donna O. Raphael
Who said instrumental music had to be boring? Composer Donna O. Raphael shows the opposite with her fresh upbeat and fun track “Light Show”. Over the years, the multi-instrumentalist female artist has garnered several distinctions. With a Bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts, Donna has won mix competitions and has been awarded for her audio file management skills. Moreover, she entered the Top 25 list of the highest-scoring indie artists in 2018 via Music Connection.

The former GRAMMY U member based in Florida is proud of her Caribbean heritage. Indeed, you can tell she has worked her magic with tropical-esque elements on the sound design of “Light Show”. As a result, originality is her stamp of excellence. At the end of the day, this is what really counts, being creative at all costs. Seamlessly blending steel drums, marimba, piano keys, and modern electronic beats, Donna showcases an eclectic variety of rhythms hard to imitate.

Dreams and dedication are a powerful combination, and that’s why she’s working hard to get her rich compositions placed in films, TV shows, and commercials. Besides Electronica, she’s also into Pop, World Classical, and Orchestral genres. The Dominica-born composer has set the standard high with this release, so you can hope to see some interesting things from her later this year.

Hurry Up And Check Out Efel’s Brand New Sonic Gem, “Slow Club”

Published

Efel
For this week’s Electro Wow spotlight, I would like to introduce you to French producer Efel. He sets the melancholic tone for his sonic gem, “Slow Club”. The way he blends seductive vocals from Paris-based singer Naïno with hypnotic soundscapes is pure gold. To put it simply, just think of Efel as a cross between Jean-Michel Jarre and Goldfrapp with a contemporary sound.

This song kicks off with chirping bird sounds and mellow synths, then it builds up with pulsating chords. Those warm beats act like elegant food for your ears. As a matter of fact, you can tell Efel knows how to create a relaxing atmosphere. According to the artist himself, “Slow Club” is an invitation to freedom. It’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary, and the simplicity of its cozy melody works pretty well. Overall, there’s nothing more comforting than listening to four minutes of “Slow Club”. Press play below.
