Moby will soon release a brand new album titled ‘Everything Was Beautiful, And Nothing Hurt’. A few days ago, he shared a black & white video clip for the lead single, “Like A Motherless Child,” featuring Raquel Rodriguez on vocals.
This is an incredible Electronica track that flows with profound spoken words. Somehow, it reminds me of the classic sound we all yearn for. If you pay attention to the lyrics, it talks about the void left when one feels separated from a parent.
Additionally, the music video features great location imagery, and everything is really outstanding. I’m glad to know Moby is back to his roots. Only time will tell if he releases a couple of Techno remixes for this song.
