Multi-genre producer Lizdek – with roots in the Trap, Bass, and Dubstep lane – returns with his first studio album, ‘DUALITY,’ out now via MONTA Records. The follow-up to his 2022 debut mixtape “Gemini,” the record turns the tension between two creative identities – the polished, commercial product and the raw, unfiltered visionary – into its central idea, drawing a line between Shoegaze, rage Rap, and several strains of EDM.
The result is a run of hard-hitting bangers that still sit somewhere between clarity and noise, structure and spontaneity. Its guest list pulls in collaborators from across the Rap and Bass worlds, including Ailow, Matt OX, and DJ Smokey on “HI-FASHION,” Malixe and Oddly Godly on “INSANE,” SURF on “Go Back,” and Yandrel on “MAJKO.”
The album arrives on the back of a strong run for Lizdek, including his recent Electro House collaboration with Habstrakt on Monstercat and ongoing support for his rework of Skrillex’s “Push.”

Lizdek first moved into electronic music with the intricate, lush sound that defined his earlier work, before building a reputation as a regular on Sable Valley with a fiercer, harder-edged side. That dual nature has run through his catalogue ever since, and it sits at the centre of ‘DUALITY.’
Along the way, his music has drawn support from a wide range of names in dance and electronic music, including Skrillex, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, DJ Snake, Flosstradamus, RL Grime, Four Tet, NGHTMRE, Space Laces, Habstrakt, and Kai Wachi. This year, Lizdek continues to build his live presence with a string of US shows, including a back-to-back set with ailow at a Brownies & Lemonade show in Seattle supporting RL Grime, Gryffin, and Wax Motif, alongside shows in San Francisco, Denver, and more dates to be announced.
