When It All Clicked
DVBBS and Nelly Furtado had been talking about collabing for years, just tossing ideas around without anything sticking. Then a few months ago the singer sent them a vocal and everything changed.
Believe it or not, the second the brothers heard the verses of “Torture Of The Heart,” they already knew this one smelled like a massive hit. Definitely, when something is written straight from the heart, you feel it instantly and this is exactly that case.
My favorite part is hands down the chorus, it has that special flavor that makes it memorable and completely irresistible all at once.

Nelly Furtado has always stood out for her versatility as an artist. While she started out in the Pop world, EDM is a style that has always suited her incredibly well.
Her first dive into the genre actually goes all the way back to 2010, when she teamed up with Tiësto for the worldwide hit “Who Wants To Be Alone.” Years later she dropped a collab with Paul Oakenfold, and more recently she linked up with Dom Dolla for the Tech House jam “Eat Your Man.”
So, “Torture Of The Heart” is not her first gem in this electronic music space, but without a doubt it sounds like one of her best works to date.

These brothers are clearly not taking any breaks. Their track “Move A Little Closer” climbed all the way to No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart in 2025, and the names they have worked with speak for themselves, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Wiz Khalifa, and 2 Chainz among others.
Finally, “Torture Of The Heart” has that rare essence that makes EDM both emotional and deeply passionate.
Nelly Furtado and DVBBS have knocked it out of the park with this one, and when the right voice and the right production meet, the result is nothing short of extraordinary.
