According to Souleye, creating music alongside his wife, Alanis Morissette, is always a moment of bliss. No doubt, they’ll delight fans with “Emergency,” the lead single from the upcoming album ‘Disguised As Tomorrow.’
Following a two-year lockdown at the studio led to a burst of creative energy that made a catchy release possible.
One more time, the LA-based rapper flexes his genre-bending abilities as Hip-Hop, Rock, and Electronic music fused into one melody. Besides, switching up the flow and fast rhyming sections lay the foundation for a modern dynamic production accompanied by a dose of existentialism.
In particular, “Emergency” may be triggering a sort of awakening to stop feeding into the division which affects everyone.
Don’t think twice, just hit the play button down here.
Effectively, Souleye meets the purpose for which “Emergency” was designed. All you need is 4 minutes to open your mind, take a deep breath and internalize his thought-provoking lyrics.
On the flip side, the absolutely spectacular artwork is the vision of Mike Bundlie. In this sense, the red cross is the symbol of an emergency, while the gesture of extending a hand is intended to serve humanity.
To put it another way, a call for unity seems to be the message behind this gem.
Additional information on Souleye’s ‘Disguised As Tomorrow’ album will come soon.
