NGHTMRE & WAVEDASH Collaborate On An Iconic New Bass Track "Grave"
NGHTMRE
& WAVEDASH have collaborated on the hardest release of the summer, a monstrous bass-driven track appropriately titled “Grave” which is out now via Mad Decent. The track’s bones are built from stabbing percussion, lacerating synths, and a menacing underlying bassline. “Grave” is the track to play to unleash pent-up anger or to get the party started, and we’d bet that NGHTMRE and WAVEDASH will be slipping this into their upcoming sets. This new release follows a busy summer full of new music for NGHTMRE, which included his “Magic Hour” EP with Pell on Diplo’s Mad Decent label and his remixes of Flosstradamus’s “MVP” and Ekali & ZHU’s “Blame.” WAVEDASH’s new collaborative EP with Quest, Devil Music, was also recently released via Mad Zoo.

Through his meticulous, earth-shattering productions and equally electrifying live sets, NGHTMRE has taken his spot as one of the leading bass producers in the scene. The Los Angeles based artist has been ubiquitous for the past several years through a slew of successful releases, from 2015’s instant hit “Gud Vibrations” to his recent “Another Dimension” collaboration with Dillon Francis. NGHTMRE’s fast-paced, exhilarating live sets have earned him a loyal fanbase; his packed tour schedule has included Lollapalooza, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields and his own Gud Vibrations events with SLANDER. The Gud Vibrations concept began with NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s single but blossomed into a multi-event series, including this year’s sold out boat party during Miami Music Week and their own festival in SoCal. It’s always a wild ride where NGHTMRE is concerned, so stay tuned to see what this ace of bass has up his sleeve next.

Hot off the release of their heavy hitting collaboration with SLANDER, “Move Back”, WAVEDASH continued their rapid progression in 2018 with their new EP, Devil Music, on Mat Zo’s Mad Zoo imprint. WAVEDASH initially garnered attention via OWSLA comp stand out, “Bang,” which lead to heavy support from Skrillex, Kill The Noise, and more. Continuing their ascent into the upper echelons of dance music, the trio were special guests during SLANDER + NGHTMRE’s set at Ultra and EDC, also joining Kill The Noise for a Surprise b2b at the latter. The Texas-based trio have quickly amassed a following within electronic music thanks in large part to a meticulous attention to detail in their dynamic, youthful, and often turbulent productions.
