Born in Austria, Otto Le Blanc has gained recognition for his Big Room jams and impressive performances.

1. What first inspired you to start DJing, and how did that lead to producing your music?

A friend of mine had a DJ school when I was 20. My passion for music and entertaining led me to learn DJing from him, which eventually opened doors to my first club gigs. Over the years, I’ve also learned music production.

2. You’ve played at incredible events, from Summer Splash in Turkey to the Skiopening in Austria. Which gig stands out as the most memorable for you, and why?

One of my most memorable gigs was in 2012 at Spring Break Europe in Croatia, where I performed on the main stage in front of 10,000 people.

3. Your style blends EDM with other elements. How do you decide which elements to incorporate into your tracks?

I use a great studio provided by my management team and let my emotional state and mood guide my production. While I focus on club and festival sounds, my music varies based on current inspirations.

4. Playing alongside legends like Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Axwell must have been amazing. What have you learned from these experiences?

DJing is about more than just playing music; it’s about responding to the audience and creating an immersive experience. Learning from these legends has shown me the importance of engaging and connecting with the crowd.

5. Since 2018, you’ve been a permanent member of the Oceanbeat DJ team in Ibiza. What do you love most about performing there?

Performing in Ibiza is incredible because of the diverse audience from around the world. Playing on the Oceanbeat Party Boat, I get to share my sound with many nations and witness a joyous celebration on the boat.

6. Can you tell us the story behind your latest single?

My latest single was created based on the moment’s mood, featuring a Progressive House style. Collaborating with MIDO, Voltexx, and Schelli, we developed the vocals and finalized the track.

7. Are there any artists you dream of collaborating with in the future, and why?

I would love to collaborate with artists like Timmy Trumpet, Will Sparks, Joel Fletcher, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, among others. There are also lesser-known DJs I admire and would like to work with.

8. What’s the most rewarding project you’ve worked on in your music studio?

One of my most rewarding projects was the song “Loco” from 2013. It reached number 1 in the DJ charts in Austria for three weeks.

9. What advice would you give to aspiring DJs who are looking to break into the EDM scene?

Passion and dedication are crucial. Produce what you love, market yourself effectively, and be open to feedback. Networking and leveraging contacts can make a significant difference in your career.

10. Looking ahead, what are your goals for the future?

I aim to expand my reach through performances and productions, and to play at major festivals worldwide, showcasing my style and music on a global stage.
