Nek‘s 90s Pop-Rock anthem “Laura” was given a refreshing update by the one and only Phantom Boy. Without any exaggeration, this tropical remix is simply irresistible. The awarded singer-producer whose real name is Eddie Gonzales keeps the same joyous essence with which he became known in the famous boyband Fantasmas del Caribe. In this new version, the Spanish lyrics stay perfectly intact.
Despite the whole catchy arrangement, “Laura” is a song that talks about someone who is struggling to forget a past relationship. Certainly, if this track does not dominate the clubs today it’s because the pandemic has shut down parties. Well, do not give up hope for a better tomorrow and more exciting tropical hits from Phantom Boy. What’s more, the Atlanta-based artist will drop soon the English version of “Laura,” which is a collaborative effort with Frankie & Blaki B, so let’s keep an eye on his announcements through his socials below.
