R3HAB teams up with Polish startup producers Fafaq and DNF for a very special, booty-shaking House track – “Ringtone,“ which debuts as the first release ever on Saudi label MDLBEAST Records. The trio of talented producers pulls out the stops for the new single, which features a trifecta of dirty basslines, rhythmic kick drums, and a catchy vocal hook to remind all electronic fans that sometimes, you just have to put your phone away and dance. In addition to being MDLBEAST Records’ premier single release, “Ringtone” will be featured among the label’s carefully curated album showcasing a star-studded roster of global talent, titled “Soundstorm Volume 1.” The name is a nod to the MDLBEAST’s game changing festival, Soundstorm, which held its first edition in 2019 with over 80 acts, such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Afrojack, and R3HAB himself, which gathered over 400K attendees. With “Ringtone” R3HAB helps celebrate his own heritage and expose the talent in the region by partnering with MDLBEAST, burgeoning a new era of discovery for a region full of untapped potential.
“I’ve been working on this record for so long, and I’m so happy it’s finally seeing daylight. ‘Ringtone’ has all the pieces to be an actual banger with its compelling melody, bassline, and modern tech influences, which combine to create an escape into a virtual reality. I’m honored that it is being used to announce the launch of MDLBEAST Records and their debut album, which has features from top tier artists lined up. I can’t wait to play ‘Ringtone’ in front of big crowds, but until then, I hope it inspires you to forget your worries, get up, and dance.” – R3HAB
“MDLBEAST is a fast-evolving and influential brand, so it makes perfect sense to launch a brand new label to complement ongoing festival and event activities. It marks another milestone on the journey that allows a further cultural exchange between local Middle Eastern artists, global superstars, and audiences around the world. We are especially proud that good friend and collaborator R3HAB will be the first artist to officially launch his single ‘Ringtone’ on MDLBEAST Records. This record is an electrifying cut that sets a fantastic tone for the label going forward.” – Talal Albahiti, Deputy CEO & COO of MDLBEAST

RayRay Releases Ethereal, Bass-Driven Debut Studio Album
Powerhouse Taiwanese artist RayRay releases her first-ever studio album on Barong Family, a ten-track body of work titled ‘Unearthly World’ that serves as a stunning and diverse look into the female producer and singer’s psyche and childhood inspiration. The album touches on a myriad of genres, from Dubstep to Trap to melodic, house, and hardstyle, but is held together with a common thread of ethereality that is reminiscent of the folk tales and fairy stories that RayRay loved while growing up in Taiwan. The opening track, “Wide Awake,” sets a beautifully haunting tone with its emotive vocals and wistful bass, spreading its vein to other titles such as “Hide & Seek” with Nonsens and the lyrically empowering “Butterfly” with RayRay’s fellow Taiwanese JVNA. She then turns up the heat by heading into hardstyle territory with “404,” with rapid-fire basslines and serrating synths that are not for the weak of heart. Records like “Losing My Mind” with Dirty Audio and “Good Girls Gone Bad” with Dysomnia, featuring OGAQUAFINA, rock a four-on-the-floor house beat perfect for booty shaking on the dancefloor. The entire album is a testament to RayRay’s evolution as an artist as she seamlessly transitions between soundscapes. Read on for more on her inspiration behind “Unearthly World”:
“‘Unearthly’ can have a very vague meaning, but I wanted to highlight the fact that it’s a milestone release for me that sonically and aesthetically exists in the same dimension as my previous releases such as EPs – ‘Purple Alien,’ ‘Alien Invasion’ and ‘Alien Mutation,’ among others. With ‘Unearthly World,’ I want to give the listeners and my fans a diversified body of work that stimulates their imagination with a wide range of music genres and invites them to my own unearthly world of RayRay as a seasoned music producer and a singer.” — RayRay

RayRay has landed loudly and exploded onto the international dance scene in the past few years. With gigs at major festivals like Glastonbury, ADE, Tomorrowland, Sonar, and Arcadia, and her purple hair as her signature look. She cemented her status in the scene as a Red Bull Thre3style competition winner and through a series of studio sessions with artists such as Skrillex, Yellow Claw, Steve Aoki, and Atmozfears. All that while honing and training her vocals with voice professionals. After being named on Beatport’s HOT 100 Future Bass/Trap Top 10 List in 2016, her work ethic and signature sound caught the ears of Yellow Claw, who brought RayRay on tour in 2019 and quickly signed her to a management deal and to the Barong Family where she released three EPs: “Purple Alien” and “Alien Invasion” and 2021’s Brand New EP “Alien Mutation.” RayRay’s new home on the Dutch imprint has gotten her name on feverish demand, and today she tours her signature sound all over the globe, creating seismic experiences for her newfound fans. With releases on Spinnin’ Records, Protocol Recordings, Dim Mak, as well as releases on Tiësto’s label Musical Freedom to follow. Despite the pandemic, 2020 and 2021 didn’t slow her down one bit. With the dance scene at a standstill, RayRay started her live streaming channel on Twitch in early 2020 and, within a year, became the top Twitch “Live Music” Streamer, according to IMS Business report. During the same period landing a residency on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom Sirius XM Radio show. 2021 saw her release EPs “Lasergun” with Yellow Claw, “Pump It Up” with Moksi, and “Where Are My Friends” with Sihk, to name a few. Needless to say, RayRay’s spaceship is rocketing across the stars and doesn’t seem to slow down anytime soon.

Don’t Miss Out! Chloé Caillet Serves Up A Housey Jam, “NYWTF”
Chloé Caillet moves into a fun dimension with her new housey jam “NYWTF.” Inspired by the classic sound of Detroit and Chicago House, the melody here calls for arms spread and raised to the skies.
In collaboration with Mikhail Beltran and released via CircoLoco Records, “NYWTF” outstands when it comes to minimal and deep tech beats. Moreover, the mantra on repeat «New York What The Fuck» is so bloody addictive that invites everyone to dance.
Hailing from Paris, France, Chloé Caillet is a rising female producer and DJ whose eclectic style is impressing the underground circles. There’s also something vintage about her music that I absolutely enjoy. Well, who doesn’t?…
Best of all, the music video transports you to the capital of the world, the Big Apple. These visuals are simple but iconic at the same time, showing you the land of the free through retro aesthetics.
I really hope you like it as much as I do.
