Tokischa, a Reggaeton star from the Dominican Republic, is featured on Madonna‘s new remix of her global hit “Hung Up.” Best of all, it comes accompanied by one of the hottest music videos of the year.
As a matter of fact, the duo gave this collaboration its live debut during Pride festivities back in June at New York City’s Terminal 5. Besides that, Madonna has become the first artist to have more remixed albums on the Billboard 200 charts than any other talent.
Definitely, watching her latest clip makes you want to party hard like there’s no tomorrow. Whether you love it or hate it, she’s still the queen… zero complaints!
Moreover, this version of “Hung Up” is a clear sign of evolution. Such a 180-degree spin from Pop to Latin-influenced rhythms invites everyone to sweat and dance the night away…
On a side note, the clip was filmed in the Washington Heights neighborhood, located north of Manhattan. Unexpectedly, the police showed up after receiving complaints from boring neighbors. Nevertheless, this incident didn’t stop the celebration alongside the Hispanic and LGBTQ+ communities.
