Romy just released a new song called “The Sea” from her upcoming solo debut album, ‘Mid Air.’ You can expect slow dance music and heartfelt lyrics that will leave you yearning for more.
The cinematic music video directed by Mollie Mills features the artist herself and her wife, Vic Lentaigne, chilling together in a house and by the sea. It’s got this deep and cool vibe that’ll make you wanna watch it over and over…
On this occasion, Romy teamed up with geniuses Fred again.. and Stuart Price for co-production. In my opinion, “The Sea” sounds as excellent as her recent gems, like “Enjoy Your Life,” and “Strong.”

One way or another, its gentle and relaxed tempo, is set at a pace suitable for couples dancing closely together. At the end of the day, I think this is the best purpose of slow dance music.
You’ll definitely love the combination of her seductive vocals and the mellow beats. Clearly, “The Sea” evokes a sense of romance, intimacy, and connection that will give you goosebumps when you listen to it.
On top of that, Romy is hitting the road this summer for a tour to support her upcoming album, which will officially drop on September 8 under Young Records. So mark your calendars!
