The King of “Vomitstep” experiments with an extra-heavy, instrumental-driven sound on his new release “Redline” in collaboration with Boogie T. Snails‘ army of basshead fans shouldn’t despair, however – “Redline” is as bass-centric as ever, delivering a reverberating bassline and massive drop with lacerating synths. The addition of funky vocals and electric guitar riffs by Boogie T. distinguishes “Redline” from Snails’ other productions, positioning the track as an upbeat, more dancefloor friendly track amongst his blackout-inducing soundscapes. “Redline” follows Snails’ melodic bass release “Magnets” with Zeds Dead and Akylla and his remix album of his cult favorite “The Shell.” Snails continues to expand his label, Slugz Music, by pulling in diverse collaborations that still remain true to his signature so1und.
Snails is truly an artist whose music has no boundaries. His “Vomitstep” sound first found a home on the praised label OWSLA and has led him to work alongside figures like Skrillex, Diplo and more. Snails recently launched his label Slugz Music as a home for his music and others’ that is as outrageous as they want it to be. Currently making the rounds on his massive North American tour, Snails has a special treat for attendees in the form of his brand new stage The Shell 2.0 The stage is being called a “holographic bass music experience powered by groundbreaking production” and is done in part with Beama Visuals, the stage production wizards for Excision and other impressive clientele. Snails’ festival Sluggtopia 2 was an epic kickoff to the tour, setting the bar high for the rest of the stops. See all the dates below and grab your tickets in a city near you!

Franky Nuts Releases Epic Remix Of Flux Pavilion’s Hit!
Starting the new year with a dose of melodic dubstep, Dutch producer Franky Nuts gives a remix to Flux Pavilion‘s hit track “Somebody Else” ft. GLNNA on the label head’s Circus Records. Franky, who has crafted a unique but powerful style by fusing heavy and ariose sounds, delivers his signature style through a cinematic opening that showcases the original track’s ethereal vocals, building to a crescendo filled with serrating synths, stabbing percussions and sonorous harmonies. The remix keeps the integrity of the original version while adding a unique flair, making it a tune both Flux and Franky Nuts diehard fans can embrace on the dancefloor and beyond. The remix of “Somebody Else” is Franky Nuts’s first release of the year, following a successful 2019 that included releases on Circus and Jauz’s Bite This! imprint.
Franky Nuts is a name that the international bass scene only recently became familiar with, but one that seems like it’s here to stay. Hailing from the Netherlands, the DJ and producer exploded onto the circuit in 2019 with a unique musical style that merges powerful vocals and harmonies into a deadly combination. His sound resonated with both fans and tastemakers alike, as Franky Nuts signed to Flux Pavillion’s Circus Records and quickly reached several million plays on Spotify in the span of the summer months. Renowned artists including The Chainsmokers, NGHTMRE, Zeds Dead, Skrillex, Excision, and more have supported him; Franky has made stage appearances with Jauz to perform his tracks with him at Parookaville and Bootshaus in 2019. Ending 2019 with 11 releases in total on his home base Circus Records as well as guest appearances on Bite This! and remixes for the likes of Doctor P, Delta Heavy, Modestep, among others, Franky Nuts is carving out a niche for himself in the electronic music world. We can’t wait to see what this exciting emerging artist comes up with next!

LISTEN NOW: NGHTMRE Releases A VIP Remix Of “CASH COW”
The trap hit “CASH COW” by NGHTMRE and Gunna got enough attention by achieving millions of streams on Spotify. With this in mind, it was necessary to release a VIP remix. For this purpose, DJ Khaled’s former producer Blvk Jvck joined forces to the project in order to add a touch of Dubstep to the whole mix. In that regard, these artists speed up the original version with the proper dose of distorted bass and wobbles.
Obviously, once DJs play this remix at the clubs, you and the crowd will go insane immediately. Somehow, it feels heavy and powerful because it is charged with exhilarating energy. I like the way each artist does their bit to blend all their sounds. As a result, here’s a banging hybrid you’ve never heard before… Enjoy it!

Find Out About Protohype’s Unique Tribute To The Music Of Agnes Obel
Protohype shares something extremely good before the end of the year. I’m talking about his unique cover of Agnes Obel‘s 2013 hit, “Run Cried The Crawling”. With EDM touches and Dubstep wubs, this is the best rendition to the original. Surprisingly, Obel’s “Run Cried The Crawling” has achieved 7 million streams on Spotify to date. The American producer is proud to start off on the right foot as this is the first release of his newly-announced label, Underdog Records. Besides that, he is not afraid to deliver lots of bass on this cover as he prefers to remain true to his signature style. Obviously, all this is complemented by Charmae’s seductive vocals. Check this out!

LISTEN NOW: Phocust Shares Bass-Heavy Two-Track EP, ‘Space Wonk’
Tyler Shiffer aka Phocust has dropped a new EP in collaboration with producers Dyatic and Nasty Purple. These creative minds approach these tunes with bass-heavy drops and loud Dubstep as you would like them to be. Both cuts “Space Wonk” and “Mind Reader” show their willingness to deliver overwhelming energy that surely pumps through your veins. I know it all depends on your mood, but in my case, this is the type of music that makes me wanna get up and move.
Sonically, it’s intense on different levels, the first track is purely instrumental, and the other one uses the power of vocals. Not for nothing, this EP is on high rotation on radio stations and clubs alike. Having performed at important festivals like HeavenFest, Global Dance Festival, and WinterFest, it is fair to say they are receiving a lot of support from the dance music community lately. Listen to the ‘Space Wonk’ EP below.

LSDREAM & Shlump Give Dubstep Fans Their Best EP — ‘UNIVERSAL WUB’
‘UNIVERSAL WUB’ is a fresh release via WAKAAN that comes packaged with four amazing tracks. In addition to wubs, this EP produced by LSDREAM & Shlump also includes frenetic synths, wonky beats, bass, and sci-fi-influenced sounds. What’s more, Dubstep fans will get hooked immediately due to its trippy nature. The cover art looks kinda psychedelic, and it matches the futuristic concept behind this project. Clearly, it revolves around extraterrestrial stuff, and somehow it’ll launch you into a new sonic dimension. If I had to pick my favorite, I’d definitely go for “Starchild”. It begins pleasantly enough, and there’s a good contrast between the complex/dense soundscapes and Sarah Hudson’s sexy feminine vocals. Grab your free download here.
