In the “Dirty Picture” video, Taio Cruz starts driving a car through the desert & then stops and gets out. Then, he skips to the basement, where a bunch of people are having a party.
Taio sings the “take a dirty picture” verse, and Kesha sings her verse standing on a toilet in a white bathroom with graffiti on the walls. These visuals are directed by Alex Herron, and the whole filming took place in Los Angeles and London.
Believe it or not, Taio actually wanted Lady Gaga to be on the “Dirty Picture” video initially. Can you imagine how different that would have sounded?
But apparently, Dr. Luke, who was involved at the time, convinced him to go with Kesha instead, and Taio thought the voice was super unique, so he switched it up.
