Carly Rae Jepsen‘s 2012 hit “Call Me Maybe” is a memorable song difficult to forget. This Pop tune has been given an 80s influenced remix treatment by Travis Wahl, and the results are now online. The Florida-based producer delivers a Rock infused version, selecting electric guitars and new drums to replace the original melody. It was mixed gently without loosing its unique essence, and is quite acceptable. There are just a few effects on the vocals but overall this remix is still a radio-friendly tune, and that’s why we like it. SoundCloud embed follows:
