Feminists will feel proud of Sydney Sprague, a rising music icon who defends just causes through music. To be more precise, I’m referring to her new single “ABomb”. Clearly, this is a protest song that touches on different issues afflicting today’s society.
While it is true that many artists of the entertainment industry have spoken up to raise awareness, nothing can compare to her wonderful tune. Above all, the beauty of these lyrics occurs when she encourages people to stay strong.
Despite the constant abuse against women, violent school shootings, corruption scandals, and unfair immigration laws, we all need to take action. Below you can watch the music video for “ABomb”, filmed at the most recent Women’s March in Los Angeles. In my opinion, it captures the essence of the message perfectly.
