“Behind The Sky” from Chromoza regular Thorsten Last is a heavenly, almost orchestral aural episode. Combining elements of high impact cinematic music with Deep House and touches of Dubstep; Thorstenʼs latest export on Chromoza is a real winter warmer, the track itself acts like an electric blanket, encouraging the listener into a crystallised daydream.
Featuring the honeyd smooth vocals of Chromoza manager and singer Zoe Belucci, “Behind The Sky” is a slight departure from her usual ambient Balearic fare.
James Dax (Sleazy Deep/Capital Heaven/ Trick Track) then takes centre stage with his Future Garage remix. Following the current trend of the bubbling urban inspired beats; but also including his own accomplished, distinctive stamp with creative, sensual vocal arrangement sitting with foxy audio trickery. James Daxʼs rendition is cheeky, flirty and slightly mischievous.
The release is a real family affair with the spotlight on Chromoza boss DJ Justin Ballard for the third and final offering. Inspired by his 8 years as a resident at Fabric, Justin has baked a real hot cake in the studio oven, his DTPM Remix. Going back to his main room roots, the DTPM remix combines the more techier elements of the original and adds an infectious, bad ass synth hook that will excite and entice even the most discerning of clubbers to the dancefloor.
