Following on from the runaway success of the original comes the Tunaki remix of Belgian producer Maverick’s “Pull The Strings”, out through Sony Belgium on July 28th. With established songstress Selah Sue in on the making of the track, the duo’s collaboration has now been handed over to this up and coming artist to put a unique spin on.
Tunaki’s reworking takes this emotionally-drenched single in a completely different direction; fusing Eastern inspired, disjointed melodies alongside rattling flurries of drums and bassline plunges. Keeping Sue’s languid tones a prevailing feature, this powerful piece of future bass keeps you guessing throughout, and has top quality production from start to finish.
Whilst we are yet to know too much about who Tunaki is as an artist just yet, the strength of this remix is sure to guarantee him future successes.
