Stop whatever you’re doing, because Veronica Largiu just dropped your new favorite obsession. She’s bringing Indie Pop Rock to life in “Survival Instinct,” blending her beautiful vocals with a level of passion that’s wildly unmatched.
It’s officially out today, but wait until you see the music video. She hits the woods completely solo to face her demons, perfectly capturing that resilience she’s preaching in the lyrics. You’ll love this!
Soul, Heart, And Guts
With the release of “Survival Instinct,” Veronica is venturing into a fresh sound she hasn’t explored before. All I know for now is that it’s part of a new project the UK-based artist is putting together bit by bit.
In her upcoming material, the ingredients will be more soul, heart, and guts by singing with determination on tracks that explore her strongest side.
As a matter of fact, “Survival Instinct” is the first single from this upcoming EP, dropping in May 2026. And obviously, there isn’t even one EDM summer song in sight; instead, you’re getting more defiant, raw ballads.
Maybe the foundation for all her next tunes this time around will be Indie Pop Rock, but you’re going to have to wait for the full surprise.

The Origin Of Survival Instinct
Veronica wrote “Survival Instinct” back in June 2025 when things were looking pretty mid, to say the least. She was going through a rough patch that would’ve had most people hitting the quit button.
Instead of giving up, she found that inner strength we all keep for when things get tough. So, the results are loud and clear.
This melody doesn’t just flex with heavy drums and electric guitars; it shows off a massive amount of emotional weight in her songwriting.
Tracing the Path from Every Fall to Every Triumph
There’s a line in the song about remembering where you come from. Rather than a physical location, she is talking about the struggle it took to get here.
It is about having the power to build a home from nothing and the strength to stay warm in the cold. Every hard-earned win is part of that story.
Ultimately, this is an anthem for anyone who has had to fight their way back to the top to turn their own dust into gold.
