Hey, guys, you won’t believe the amazing new dance cover I just stumbled across by Anya Randall Nebel. She completely transformed a bona fide ’60s classic into a slamming club banger!
It’s her fresh take on Dionne Warwick‘s “Anyone Who Had A Heart,” and she gave it such a fiery beat overhaul that it will make you pump your fists. Indeed, this energizing rendition can be found on the recently released 6-track EP, ‘Random.’
On top of being a singer and music producer from Maryland, she’s super talented in theater, movies, and television, too.
Leaving a Lasting Impression
You can tell her passionate vocals are totally smooth as butter on this extraordinary remake. Likewise, she gives the entire composition this relaxed yet uplifting touch, which makes you feel good as she pours her soul into every note.
She interprets the heartbreak lyrics by letting her profound emotions flow freely while crooning the verses. Consequently. Anya Randall Nebel leaves a lasting impression on anyone fortunate enough to hear her voice.
Thinking Outside The Box
For those familiar with the original version of “Anyone Who Had A Heart,” this cover switches it up from the initial’s straightforward sound. Where the vintage edition kept it light and simple, this one injects seriously dope beats, big basslines, and electronic music elements to bring the whole thing more up-to-date.
I admire how she likes to take risks by putting her unique spin on a great Dionne Warwick classic. With this cut, she flipped the script and threw some melodic arrangements into the mix that nobody’s ever thought to use on this old hit.
Gotta respect her fearlessness to think outside the box and experiment like that. And I must say, whatever she did with this tune definitely worked.
In short, she takes “Anyone Who Had A Heart” in a brand new direction. By the end, you’re kinda dancing in your seat without even realizing it!
