While a love song isn’t necessarily what you’d expect from the inventor of a genre called “Vomitstep,” that’s exactly what Snails has created on his newest release “Magnets”. Produced in collaboration with heavyweights Zeds Dead and live electronic duo Akylla, “Magnets” is a rollercoaster ride through a passionate relationship, complete with dramatic vocals, stabbing percussion and goosebump-inducing bass. To sum up the track, Snails says “”Magnets’ is all about putting together beautiful melodies and vocals with intense basslines to create a powerful love song. The mix of all our styles complimented each other exactly how we wanted and so happy how the song came out.” A romantic ballad for the modern basshead, “Magnets” is guaranteed to create some serious flames on the dancefloor this fall. It’s out now as a co-release between Snails’s Slugz Music and Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats labels.
Just in time to showcase his recent releases – such as “Magnets” and “The Shell: Remixes” LP – Snails is about to embark on his massive 52 date North American tour, which will feature his brand new stage The Shell 2.0. The stage is being called a “holographic bass music experience powered by groundbreaking production” and is done in part with Beama Visuals, the stage production wizards for Excision and other impressive clientele. The tour kicks on October 5th at Snails’s own festival Sluggtopia at the iconic Red Rock Amphitheater, where “The Shell 2.0” is being unveiled to the world. Expect to hear some heavy tracks from Snails’s recent remix album of “The Shell”, which features some guest artists who will perform at Sluggtopia, including Funtcase, Space Jesus and SVDDEN DEATH among others. Also, 12th Planet, Kill the Noise, Liquid Stranger, Cookie Monsta and Voyd will be joining Snails throughout the entire “The Shell 2.0” tour on select dates as well as SVDDEN DEATH, HEKLER and UBUR as touring support. Check out “The Shell 2.0” tour dates below and grab tickets to a city near you!
Snails is truly an artist whose music has no boundaries. After spending years crafting music featuring the most grimy sounds and unrelenting bass imaginable in his small apartment, his “Vomitstep” sound found a home on labels like OWSLA, Dim Mak and Monstercat – along with a cult following that truly embraces it. Snails recently launched his label Slugz Music as home for his music and others’ that is as outrageous as they want it to be. As collaborators on “Magnets,” Zeds Dead add their pioneering touch of bass music that has developed into their iconic sound over the last decade through classics like “White Satin” and “Lost You.” Their consistent stream of quality releases has won them the adoration of millions of fans and praise from the biggest names in music. Following the release of their long awaited debut album in 2016, Zeds Dead have continued to surprise old fans and gain new ones with a series of collaborations with Illenium, Ganja White Night, Jauz, and 1000 Volts (Redman & Jayceeoh). Zeds Dead runs their own label Deadbeats, recently released singles from Devault, DNMO, GG Magree, Hunter Siegel, an EP from 1788-L, and a critically lauded debut album from Shades entitled “In Praise of Darkness”. The organic melodies and emotive vocals on “Magnets” are compliments of electronic live duo Akylla, who join forces with Snails again after working with him on 2017’s “Only Want U.” “Magnets” is bursting with the talent of these three artistic groups, so don’t miss the chance to be among the first to listen!

GRAVEDGR Drops “6 FEET UNDER” Remix Album + A Livestream From A Cemetery
GRAVEDGR is back to his hellish ways with the release of a brand new remix album of his debut LP “6 FEET UNDER”, an exceptional treat for his equally nefarious fans: an album-themed live stream from, you guessed it, a cemetery. Featuring seventeen heavy-hitting variations of hit tracks like “KAMIKAZE,” “WARDOGZ” and “JESSE JAMES,” listeners will delight in the serrating synths, bone-shaking bass and gut-wrenching drops of the remix version of “6 FEET UNDER.” GRAVEDGR called upon some of bass music’s most prominent players to place their own dark touches on his music, such as Riot Ten, SLUDGE, NCRYPTA, Lil Texas, KRISCHVN, DITHER, WARFACE, SICKMODE, SLUDGE, to name a few, including GRAVEDGR’s own VIP Remix of “Maria” with Junkie Kid. Tune in to Twitch for a nightmarish live stream of GRAVEDGR premiering the album from a cemetery on the LP’s release date, June 19.
Take one look at GRAVEDGR, and it’s easy to see where his name comes from – constantly donning black attire and his signature face mask, it’s no surprise that his day job is literally digging graves. All the time spent contemplating mortality must have inspired his musical sound, which can be summed up as simultaneously scary, melodic and hard. His wildly popular debut single “RAMPAGE” has amassed almost 15 million streams on Spotify alone, placing him firmly on the map, and was quickly followed up by the equally relentless “JESSE JAMES,” “BE WARY,” “KAMIKAZE” and more. After the release of his first studio album “6 FEET UNDER” in early 2020, GRAVEDGR earned even more notoriety for his hard-hitting, mind-bending production style as featured on tracks like “FICK DICH” and the debut album’s title track “6 FEET UNDER.” Stay tuned for more releases coming soon from this mysterious producer!

Riot Ten Releases Genre-Bending 7-Track ‘Emergence’ EP On Dim Mak Records
Bass heavyweight Riot Ten flexes his versatility on the 7-track EP, ‘Hype or Die: Emergence‘. Featuring a VIP mix of the festival anthem “Rail Breaker” and collaborations alongside DIESEL (aka Shaquille O’Neal), Whales, and Bok Nero, the EP presents a mature palette of sounds, blending future bass, hardstyle and Latin instrumentation amongst his signature dubstep drops.
The Emergence EP is Riot Ten’s first multi-track release since his successful “Hype or Die: Nightmares” studio album and the subsequent deluxe package, which followed last year. It arrives off the heels of his recent performance at one of the first car raves in North America last month in Houston, TX. New tracks “Bring It Back” with DirtySnatcha and “Buck” featuring Bok Nero each integrate elements of dubstep and trap, complete with grimy, heavy bass, and serrating mechanical synths. “Ultimate” is a heavy-hitting collaboration with basketball legend DIESEL (aka Shaquille O’Neal) and viral Houston rapper T-Wayne. “Narcos” with Madreckless contains the pulsating tempo of psytrance fused with bass elements. “Save You” sees Riot Ten team up with Whales and his cousin Megan Stokes for a rich, future bass original, showcasing a softer side to his sound. As a special treat, he closes the EP with VIP renditions of “Save You” and “Rail Breaker,” the latter of which remains a fan favorite around the world, boasting over 7 million on-demand streams. Wielding plenty of chaotic bass nuances, the EP lives in the same “Hype or Die” underworld, but with a heightened sense of urgency.
“I wanted to create something that was different from my previous bodies of work, yet still embodied that “Hype Or Die” aura. I named my EP ‘Emergence,’ due to the chaos in the world now coming to light. It is symbolic of how many have felt for some time now..and so we have risen. I stand in solidarity with those fighting injustice.” – Riot Ten
Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Riot Ten exploded into the world of EDM at the young age of 22. Joining the Dim Mak Records family in 2017, with additional music out on Never Say Die, Insomniac, Bassrush and Excision’s “Rottun Records”, Riot Ten blasted off with four #1 top 100 dubstep singles and his music can be heard around the world from the likes of DJ Snake, Zeds Dead, The Chainsmokers, Excision and many more. The 2017 single “Fuck It” became a staple on The Chainsmokers’ “Memories Do Not Open” tour. This success helped pave the way for “Rail Breaker”, his global smash in 2017, to become one of the most played out dubstep songs of the last decade. The single continues to see support at nearly every major festival from the biggest names in dance music. Following the release of “Rail Breaker”, Riot Ten dropped his debut EP with DIM MAK called Hype Or Die: The Dead in 2018, which recorded a top 10 debut on the iTunes “dance album” charts, a feat seldom seen by an artist in the genre. He recorded another top 10 debut on the iTunes charts in 2019 with his debut album Hype Or Die: Nightmares. Outside of the music, Riot Ten has continued to record sell-out shows domestically and internationally, touring the infamous “Hype Or Die” brand for its 2nd straight year. He has also played EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Zoo, EDC Mexico, Lost Lands, EDC Orlando, Global Dance Festival, Electric Forest, Bass Canyon, Imagine Music Festival and more.

GLD Debut On Carnage’s Heavyweight, A Blend Of Downtempo, Glitch & Bass
DJ and producing duo GLD just dropped their latest track “Judgement Day” a genre-bending single for the most intense bass heads out there. It delivers menacing, wobbling basslines and serrating synths in a relentless tempo, which GLD expertly layers with distorted vocal riffs that further add to the frenzied mood. Listeners suddenly understand the track’s name when a church organ ominously appears in the interlude, evoking images of sacrilegious acts and a fiery underworld. “Judgement Day” is out on Carnage’s Heavyweight Records, and GLD joins the ranks of GRAVEDGR, Sludge, GOMMI and more as part of Carnage’s epic crew of cronies.
Friends Mattie and Jake founded their project GLD with a desire to change what it means to make and perform music and to improve the world with the messages spread through their art. GLD’s mantra is that music doesn’t need to fit in a genre box, and their style draws influences from energized punk and jazz and blends it with powerhouse electronic music. Their unique and intense style has earned them support from heavyweights like Skrillex, Diplo, DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers, Flosstradamus, Excision, and NGHTMRE. GLD continues to expand upon their production prowess with every release, and we can’t wait to see where the rest of this year takes them!

Sludge Channels His Ancestry For Debut EP, ‘The Serbian Monster’
It’s been a while since the world has heard from Sludge, the sinister producer who first made his appearance on Carnage’s Heavyweight Records last year with “Blacksmith.” He’s been hard at work on a new project that reflects a darker persona than ever – ‘The Serbian Monster’ EP. The release features four brand new tracks of his signature raw and industrial sound, all of which thematically tell the story of his cultural heritage. From listening to the stabbing basslines and ear-splitting synths of “The Feast” to the “Prepare to Die” vocal riffs of the EP’s title track “The Serbian Monster.” With the relentless mechanical reverberations of “Kill Them,” Sludge transports the listeners right into his family’s escape from Yugoslavia during the Yugoslav Wars to the US. “End Game” depicts a dark but victorious closing to the saga, which exemplifies Sludge’s more mature but equally heavy sound on the new EP. As seen on the video for “Blacksmith,” Sludge’s upbringing continues to be an inspiration for his music.
Iconic DJ and producer Carnage founded his label Heavyweight Records in 2017 as a home for hard bass and hip-hop music. Since then, the Las Vegas-based artist has gathered a formidable crew of cronies on the imprint, from the masked mastermind GRAVEDGR, Melbourne Bounce frontrunner Will Sparks, trippy up-and-comer GOMMI, and the sinister and dangerous Sludge. Sludge joined their prestigious ranks as a debutant with “Blacksmith” in 2019 being his first release (now having amassed 3M streams on Spotify) and “Emergency” and “Crush ‘Em” as his follow-ups, which set the stage for him to become one of the label’s premier acts going forward. ‘The Serbian Monster’ is a promising sophomore EP, sending the message that Sludge is far from over being bitter about his country’s demise during the Cold War. Follow Carnage, Heavyweight Records, Sludge, and the rest of the gang for more sinister sounds.
