Warm chords, driving percussion, and a vocal that circles one repeated plea-“take me back”-carry “WEIGHTLESS,” the new single from Hollywood-based DJ and producer ZUEZEU, out now.
It’s the brightest, most open-sounding record he has put his name to, and a clear turn from the darker, peak-time pressure of his previous single “GO,” swapping the late-night floor for the daytime main stage while keeping the groove that runs through his productions. Where “GO” traded on tension and attitude, “WEIGHTLESS” runs on release – the feeling of a moment when everything was light, free, and safe, and the pull to get back to it.
The single arrives with a music video filmed entirely in Hawaii, leaning on the islands’ natural scenery – dramatic coastlines, clear water and volcanic landscapes – rather than heavy effects, a visual match for the song’s escapist spirit. “WEIGHTLESS” is also part of Rockstars & Angels, the community founded by ZUEZEU and Jaden Bojsen that opens up the reality of building a career in dance music, documenting everything from studio sessions and songwriting to touring – and encouraging fans to chase their own dreams along the way.
Based in Hollywood, California, ZUEZEU is a rising Tech-House artist who pairs high-energy grooves with crowd-focused hooks across both festival stages and club floors. Since debuting in 2020, he has played shows across the U.S., Asia, and Europe, including a main stage set at EDC Las Vegas 2024, a sold-out headline at Parq Nightclub in San Diego, and dates in Tokyo and Seoul.
