Dobie
chats to ELECTRO WOW! He’s a talented music producer originally from Zagreb, Croatia, and momentarily living in Ireland. Do you want to know more? Read everything right here:

1 – When did your love affair with Trance music begin?

Since I grew up listening to electronic music and Jean Michael Jarre, Trance was a logical continuation.

2 – Is it true that you come from a musical family?

Yes, I am coming from a family of musicians, my grandma was a piano player, my uncle music professor and the majority of my family members are playing some instruments so that significantly influenced my growing up.

3 – How did you get your artist name?

I am dobermann (dobie) owner and dobermann lover. So, it was very easy and simple to choose name Dobie.

4 – What inspires your music?

Main inspiration are my emotions, my dreams, my love, my everything … Every day life, people around me.

5 – What’s the name of your latest single? Where can we download it?

My latest single name is “Bambola”, official relase was on December 16th, so it is still fresh. You can listen to the song on YouTube or SoundCloud. In next ten days song will be available on most popular music online services: iTunes, Spotify, Amazon MP3, Google Play, Pandora, 8tracks, Shazam, Apple Music, etc.

6 – What kind of software and equipment do you use?

I am using FL Studio (and related VSTs) for composing and production, Yamaha and Novation synths.

7 – Is there anyone who really inspired your music style?

As I said, I grew up on electronic music, there are a lot of different influences.

8 – Was it always your dream to work in music?

Not really, but you never really know what life might bring you.

9 – How different is the music scene in Ireland and in Croatia?

There is a huge difference, in mentality, style and taste. The Irish are still more open than Croats.

10 – What does the future hold for Dobie? Any big plans?

I am working on the new remix of song “My Everything”, a new song “Love Ssstory” and the new project of Dobie Records called Spell Code, quite busy.
