Artists influenced by ABBA are basically everywhere in the music industry right now, and the latest name to join that list is Carly Rae Jepsen. She has just dropped “Don’t Leave Me On The Dance Floor,” which pays tribute to the famous Swedish band and is also an excellent example of the Disco sound we all love.

The Canadian singer-songwriter literally grew up listening to the legendary group from a young age. As an adult, she traveled to London to see the ABBA Voyage show live, and after that experience, the idea to write this new gem was born in her, drawing inspiration from a band that has marked entire generations!
As a result, you can notice similarities through the sing-along hooks and glittery synths. Plus, the Disco-Pop energy that led Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad to glory.
