Globally recognized Dubstep DJ & producer Borgore and musician Tima Dee teamed up for the second time to release “Way Up” via Buygore Records.
The Israeli-born, Los Angeles-based Borgore released “Sad B*tch” with Tima Dee in December, followed by a remix pack featuring Aweminus, Tisoki, and more. While Borgore released a number of singles and EPs throughout the course of the pandemic, he is psyched to unveil his latest project with his fanbase far and wide.
In addition to the new single being available on all streaming platforms, the release is accompanied by a music video shot in Tel Aviv.

Dee’s unforgettable lyrics – “Go ahead, go ahead, try to flex on me, you won’t mess, you won’t mess with my energy” – transition into a classic Dubstep filth drop reminiscent of some of Borgore’s earlier sounds, putting him back onto the electronic radar.
Having been in the studio with Dubstep gurus SVDDEN DEATH and Yakz, Pop icons like Miley Cyrus and Bella Thorne, and Hip-Hop superstars G-Eazy, Waka Flocka Flame, and more, Borgore has long attempted to position himself as a creatively fluid artist – existing both outside of the box and in a multitude of industry spheres.
With that being said, Borgore has never catered to a specific genre or fan base – and this upcoming album will be no exception to that rule. He first exploded into the mainstream in 2012 with his breakout single “Decisions,” featuring Miley Cyrus. In July 2014, Borgore released his debut artist album, ‘#NEWGOREORDER,’ debuting at #1 on the iTunes US Dance Charts and peaked at #3 on the Billboard Top Dance & Electronic Albums chart. His discography also comprises the Hip-Hop-heavy The Firest EP with Gucci Mane and THIRTY RACK – and Adventures In Time, an instrumental Jazz EP.
Following the release of “Way Up,” at the end of this month, Borgore has a few additional projects up his sleeve that have yet to be announced.
One of the earliest pioneers in the global Dubstep scene, Israeli-born, Los Angeles-based producer/DJ Borgore has commanded the dance music world for the past decade via his “Gorestep” sound – today counting upwards of 352 million streams across his discography. Founded in 2010, Borgore’s Buygore Records has released music from electronic heavyweights like Dotcom, Ookay, and Carnage and has helped internationalize whole genres. In May 2017, Buygore launched Fresh Blood, a sub-label that discovers and develops rising artists who are pushing the boundaries of dance music. Recognized as the Best Dubstep DJ by LA Weekly, Borgore has performed at every global music festival – including Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Music Festival, in addition to headlining multiple international solo shows and worldwide tours.
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tima Dee fell in love with the dance music scene and could be found at shows and festivals across the region. Recognized for her voice after just a few acoustic showcases, her first released song featured on a dance record quickly gained hundreds of thousands of streams. Labels and publishers took notice – and a few months later, she had signed her first deal and moved to Los Angeles. Tima found success lending her voice to a wide variety of dance genres as her name began to grow within the scene. She soon found herself collaborating and releasing songs with dance music heavyweights such as Tritonal, Dion Timmer, and Borgore. She has amassed well over 50 million streams of her work over the past few years. You can find her voice in the soundtrack for the blockbuster film “Uncharted,” the Oscar-nominated “Audible” and clubs across the globe.
