The multi-talented artist Sam Quealy is bringing back that awesome Euro Disco sound with her newest song, “Londontown.” It’s like you’re hearing an old-school Amanda Lear smash from the Studio 54 days.
Best of all, this cut is just the first sweet taste of her ambitious new album, ‘JAWBREAKER,’ scheduled for next year. Considering her 2023 debut, ‘Blonde Venus,’ featured a stacked list of 15 gems, you can expect another massive release.
The Rebellious Edge of “Londontown”
The music video directed by Thomas Clément & Swimthedog is my favorite part. They captured Sam Quealy commanding the screen with choreography that’s equal parts seductive and savage, whether she’s going solo or leading her crew of male dancers.
Also, the directors layered the visuals with sweat, grit, and a raw magnetism that makes you forget you’re watching someone perform because the energy feels so visceral and real.
The opening motorcycle sequences through city streets give the clip a rebellious edge before diving into the underground club setting, which seems like the perfect backdrop for a track that’s built for late-night mayhem.
And with over 17,000 views already on YouTube, I’m predicting those numbers are going to blow up real quick.

The Whole Song is Quite Relatable
With “Londontown,” she captures that bittersweet feeling of chasing after someone or something special. This cool tune revolves around the struggle of trying to connect while everything around you is racing forward.
In other words, it’s something anyone can relate to, especially if you’ve tried to hold onto someone while life is in full swing. The overall energy blends nostalgia and longing, creating a sense of a place that feels both hopeful and heart-wrenching.
Clearly, those lyrics resonate, and I can’t wait to hear the next Hi-NRG banger in full Euro Disco style. So, I’m betting you’re counting down the days right along with me!
