It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of rising indie talents. You’ll thank me after getting to know South London-based Hip-Hop artist, Ultra_eko. Certainly, “Halo” is one of the most talked-about tracks he has released in 2020.
This track is a captivating amalgamation of urban sounds, the right flow, tongue twisters, and electronic music. Little by little, he is exploring different genres. Like most of his tunes, “Halo” tells a unique story that is relatable on so many levels.
Clearly possessing a catchy and bright hook, it’s impossible not to like singing it out loud.
With such a distinctively shimmering style, he is ready to surprise the world with his second studio album titled ‘Alternate Realities’, out on November 16th. When he is not making songs, Ultra_eko spends time with his children and manages his own business. Working on his music career is still something new for him, but it seems he has taken great steps so far, as his compositions denote quality, passion, and love for art.
Who would have thought that after purchasing a Korg synth for his son’s piano lessons, he became very keen on this music project. Most importantly, his forte is definitely writing lyrics. Indeed, he expresses his creativity by giving life to his verses and transforming them into melodies.
At the end of the day, he wishes that his messages resonate with different listeners. That’s exactly what I call music with a purpose. Stay tuned for his next single, “Always On My Mind”, to be released this Friday.
