With an ethereal approach, this bizarre and experimental production feels quite authentic. Not to mention, the abilities behind the imaginative narrative that gives life to something which resembles a short film.
As a matter of fact, these independent artists based in Toronto, Canada, tell the story of a pair meeting online during the pandemic and escaping societal norms.
In a nutshell, both talents deliver a remarkable tale that evokes escapism and feelings of freedom. Moreover, the track is accompanied by good rhymes and a super chilled-out sound design.
Therefore, when it’s time to unwind after a long day of work, I believe this is the right gem to be played on repeat. And if comparisons are helpful, I would dare to say they have points of similarity with Crystal Castles, Sorrow, and Charlesthefirst.
Currently, Maddhatr and Skyr0 are joining forces once again on the theme song for an online teen series called “Neon.”
Future aspirations include creating their own psychedelic music festival across the forests of Northern Ontario. So, there are enough reasons to keep an eye on them.
