Krysle Lip‘s voice is in top form, and I would even dare to say he has a distinctive and original singing style. Although being new to the Alternative Pop scene, he has been committed to his music career since his teenage years.
A great tune for your 2016 playlist is “Electric Mirror,” taken from his debut studio album ‘Intravenous Therapy’. Krysle worked with Grammy award winners Florian Lagatta and Darrell Thorp in order to accomplish his musical vision, and as a result, this is a high-quality record.
The track has a dark Pop feel and smooth/haunting vocals. The album and this single are inspired by contemporary social situations. I think this concept makes him more creative and interesting than other artists. In particular, “Electric Mirror” talks about the obsession with social media.
Somehow, the song also blends Indie Rock and Electronica melodies. The music is suitable for all of us who love post-modernism!
