What Makes It “Tech Trance”?
Think of Tech Trance as Trance and Techno having a baby. It keeps Trance’s melodic, hypnotic backbone, but borrows Techno’s stripped-down, driving attitude instead of going full cheesy sentimentality.
In the case of “Angel Mode,” there aren’t any extensive vocals for that same reason. Talla 2XLC focuses more on the instrumental side of electronic music, where the textures and synths speak louder than a thousand words, letting your imagination interpret it however you feel it.
A Cinematic Look at Nightlife and Freedom
Although I’m not sure exactly where this clip was filmed, the first thing that came to mind when I watched it was the Berlin dance music scene. It almost feels like a still from an indie short film or an underground journey.
In particular, the video follows a group of gals out for a night that feels like the last night of their lives, living it up to the fullest and feeling the music in their bodies and souls, exactly as it should be!
I loved it to the point where I genuinely wanted to step into the story and dance alongside the other party animals on screen.
