If the truth be told, this is the first time I’ve listened to Toro y Moi‘s music, and I’m 100% delighted as it sounds like Daft Punk. “Freelance” is the first single taken from his forthcoming album ‘Outer Space,’ which will be released in January 2019.
Somehow, the song showcases his view on how consumerism affects creativity. But the one thing that made me his fan is that I’m a sucker for vintage-sounding songs.
Moreover, it’s instantly catchy due to the smooth synth textures. Therefore, we can assume his seventh record will bring lots of fun. Watch the new video here, exclusively on Electro Wow.
