If I’m not mistaken, Armin van Buuren is taking a mainstream Dance-Pop direction as Tiësto. Honestly, I’m feeling surprised that he just put out a single under his new alias Rising Star. More specifically, I’m talking about, “Cosmos”, a collaboration with Romanian singer Alexandra Badoi, which is pure Trance goodness.
Nevertheless, there’s a lot of confusion nowadays as his fans believe he will leave his trademark sound to adapt to music industry changes. In my opinion, old-school Armin is so fucking good there’s no reason to depart from a music style that made him famous within the electronic music community.
Anyways, the stunning melody of “Cosmos” is literally uplifting. Definitely, we have been waiting for a fresh hit like this for years.
