Dance-Rock legends Rogue Traders are back with their signature blend of electric guitars and electronic beats! “Dirty Dirty Disco” is their unexpected collab with Dannii Minogue (fellow Aussie Pop royalty and Kylie’s sister) that will completely blow your mind!
Meanwhile, the accompanying music video is a total party! Expect high-powered wind machines, vintage vibes, and a clear homage to ABBA‘s legendary visual style.
How the Dream Collab Happened
Sometimes, all it takes is a simple text message to make magic happen.
For context, frontwoman Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Dannii Minogue already shared a long history as close friends and former X Factor judges. So, when Rogue Traders producer James Ash finished the track’s beat, the group knew they needed a standout feature to elevate the song.
Immediately after receiving the demo, Dannii replied in under a minute, completely hooked on its infectious groove. In fact, the band admitted that keeping the collaboration a secret until release day was the hardest part of the entire process!

Electro Grit Meets Pure Disco
Sound-wise, “Dirty Dirty Disco” hits the sweet spot between Rogue Traders’ signature gritty electronic edge and pure dancefloor nostalgia. Top that off with Minogue’s sweet, sexy vocals, giving the track an enduring, classic quality.
Add in those catchy background “oh-oh-oh” howls, and the whole song becomes eargasmic. Built strictly for jumping, dancing, and shaking your whole body, it’s the ultimate jam for unwinding or powering workouts.
21 Years of Hits and a National Tour
The release comes at a major milestone for Rogue Traders as they celebrate 21 years together. Reflecting on their breakout smash hit “Voodoo Child” from 2005, the band have admitted they were nervous kids back then, just winging it as they shot their first big video.
Two decades later, the group feels proud as they prepare to hit the road later this year for their nationwide 21st Anniversary Tour.
