Scandinavian duo Rebecca & Fiona, from Sweden, is back on the music scene, and this time they lean more into electronic sounds with a banger you can dance to nonstop!
They’re not only singers but also DJs, so this release doubles down on what they do while stepping away a bit from Pop. Watch the music video for “House Girl” here. It’s a lot of fun, trust me.
A Photo Shoot in Motion Powered by Epic EDM
The “House Girl” video is basically a photo shoot in motion, brought to life by epic EDM energy. And there’s one detail that stands out, this Scandinavian duo looks the same as when I posted “Drugstore Lovin’” back in 2016. For them, time just doesn’t pass.
Apart from that, I’d even say there’s a strong influence of that mid-90s Eurodance that drove everyone wild in clubs. It’s a genre that never goes out of style, and now it’s turned into a kind of feminist anthem, since that’s what I think the lyrics are about: a woman who wants to be the #1 DJ. I love it!
Rock the “House Girl” Look
If you want to rock the look, the duo launched official HOUSE GIRL T-SHIRTS through their Big Romantic Shop. The design is a fitted white ringer tee with red trim on the collar and sleeves, and the song title written across the chest in a playful, hand-painted style red script, with a tiny star between “House” and “Girl.”
Moreover, it has a fun retro vibe, especially paired with bright red tights like in the photo below. The tees cost 40 euros and come in several sizes, so there’s room for everyone on the dancefloor!

These days, marketing is about more than playing shows or dropping music videos. Selling tees, or even keychains, is a perfectly valid move, especially if you have a solid base of loyal fans who will love it.
Clearly, Rebecca & Fiona take it a step further with this new gem, and it’s as catchy as it is cool.
